Second Harvest rescues and delivers fresh, surplus food daily

Every day, Second Harvest rescues good food that would otherwise go to waste, and delivers it to more than 220 social service agencies in Toronto. From children in after-school programs to women escaping domestic abuse and seniors on fixed incomes, more than 100,000 people in Toronto receive food from Second Harvest each month.

Since it was established in 1985, Second Harvest has rescued and delivered over 100 million pounds of good, nutritious surplus food, preventing 50 millions pounds of greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere.

$1 donated = 2 meals rescued and delivered.
